DESCRIPTION

BIT- 33 is a low-toxicity biocide in glycol solution for protection against yeast,
bacterial and fungal growth in the wet state. It is stable over a broad pH range of 2 – 12, and a
broad temperature range.

APPLICATIONS

BIT 33 can be used to control the growth of a wide spectrum of microorganisms – bacteria,
mould fungi and yeasts, in water based paints, adhesives concrete additives, metal working
fluids, detergents and other water treatment formulations.
It is easy to formulate BIT 33 into many products, as it is miscible with water in any ratio.
Moreover, BIT 33 has a good thermal stability and low volatility, it can also be added at a very
early phase in the production process without affecting the active content during the higher
temperature process. BIT 33 is stable over a wide pH range of pH 2 – 12. All in all, it can be used
in a wide scope of anti-microbial applications.
Also available is BIT 10 (10% active content), BIT 20 (20% active content).
