Barite 4.2 is a high-quality drilling-grade oilfield mineral powder mainly consisting Barium Sulphate (BaSO‹). It is used to increase the density of drilling fluids. This high specific-gravity mineral is the most widely used weighting material that has application in all drilling fluid systems. SAC Barite 4.2 meets API Specifications 13A Sec 7 for Barite 4.2 g/ml. Bai‘ite 4.2g/ml powder appearance varies from off-white, pale cream, yellowish, grey to brown.
